CCF is a Prime Destination for Photographers and Filmmakers Alike

We have many individuals and crews contact us throughout the year to get a chance to come and see the cheetahs. We were recently visited by film crews from the UK and Germany. CCF is one stop in an upcoming 5 part serial documentary commissioned by British ITV.

Writer and broadcaster Griff Rhys Jones, will travel through distinct parts of Africa, by train, to explore how the landscape and environment has shaped the lives of the continent’s people. Griff Rhys Jones came to Otjiwarongo and the Cheetah Conservation Fund, for a day, to learn about the cheetahs. It was a very fast paced filming process but thoroughly enjoyable. Griff even got some close ups with the cheetahs and the animals on our Model Farm.

The German wildlife filmmaker Andreas Kieling and his crew stayed a couple of days at the Cheetah Conservation Fund to film a part of their new wildlife documentary series. They filmed a variety of CCF’s activities and projects as for example the cheetah run, the scat detection dogs, the genetics lab, the bushblok harvesting and the Model Farm, to get wide ranging information about CCF’s work to save the cheetah.

We thank both of the crews for coming to CCF and looking forward to seeing the results.
