I understand that by entering the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) lands and/or performing duties on behalf of CCF, I do so at my own risk. I acknowledge that I am fully aware of and appreciate the dangers associated with spending time on CCF lands and/or performing duties on behalf of CCF, including but not limited to dangers posed by wild and domestic animals, birds, snakes, insects, vehicles, light aircraft, roads, stream crossings, dehydration and disease, and the real risk of suffering bodily harm, injury, death, and/or loss to property which may arise as a result of an encounter with and/or the presence of such dangers.
To the furthest extent permitted by applicable law, neither CCF, nor agents acting on behalf of CCF, nor any of the staff of CCF personally, will accept any responsibility or liability for any loss, injury, or other damage, howsoever arising, that I may suffer while on these lands and/or while I am performing duties on behalf of CCF, whether those duties are at the request of CCF, or any trustee, officer, director, employee, or agent of any such organization or otherwise, and whether or not such loss or injury is occasioned or contributed to by my own conduct.
I further acknowledge that, in the event that I suffer any injury, CCF may, at its discretion and without prejudice and without admission of liability, arrange and pay for emergency medical treatment for and on my behalf.
Photos/video/film taken at CCF cannot be used for commercial purposes unless through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Photos/video/film taken at CCF to be used for commercial purposes are subject to the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to be executed between the photographer/filmmaker and CCF in advance and emailed to
[email protected] for approval.
Sales of photographs or merchandise/promotions in conjunction with photographs cannot use the CCF brand or name or registered marks as a promotional selling device.
I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of CCF, including, but not limited to, the CCF orientation manual and conditions of service.
I also agree that all personal possessions kept in any CCF vehicle, CCF facility, on CCF lands or taken on CCF duties are my own responsibility. CCF will not be liable for any damages, loss or theft of such personal possessions. I will inform the Director immediately in the case of missing items.
CCF nor any of its Trustees, Directors, Staff, Agents, Volunteers or interns takes any responsibility for non-staff members (including children) attached directly or indirectly to staff of any position. This includes but is not inclusive to health, wellbeing, provision of food, medical treatment or transportation etc.
