In honor of World Wildlife Day 2024, the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), in collaboration with the Namibian Environmental Educators Network (NEEN) Otjizondjupa Region, is thrilled to invite you to a day filled with education, inspiration, and action. This special event will bring together students from local Otjiwarongo schools and the B2Gold Environmental Education Centre to shine a spotlight on the importance of wildlife conservation and sustainable practices.

Event Highlights Include:

  • Poster Competition: Marvel at the creativity of students from participating schools as they display their artwork focused on conservation.
  • Information Booths: Engage with experts from CCF and the B2Gold Education Centre to learn about ongoing conservation efforts.
  • Performances: Enjoy a captivating array of poetry readings and dances performed by talented local students, all celebrating our natural world.

In a time marked by habitat loss, climate change, poaching, and illegal wildlife trade, the collective effort to protect our natural heritage is more important than ever. Dr. Laurie Marker, Founder and Executive Director of CCF, reminds us that World Wildlife Day is a call to action for everyone to contribute to preserving our planet’s precious biodiversity.

Join us as we stand together to ensure a sustainable future for all life on Earth. Your participation is not just a commitment to conservation; it’s a step towards making a tangible difference in the world.

Let’s Celebrate Our Planet’s Incredible Diversity and Work Together for a Sustainable Future.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
