Art Contest in Italy – Drawing For Cheetahs

Cheetah Conservation Fund Italia, Italian partner of CCF, cooperates since 2009 with CCF Namibia and works to create awareness among the Italian public about the importance of cheetahs as crucial predators for a healthy and balanced ecosystem. This Contest has been launched in September 2021 and aims at a greater knowledge of wildlife importance all over the Italian territory.

Our Mission:

CCF Italia is a non-profit Charity.

The Contest is accessible to all Public Art High school in Italy.

We asked the students to create an image, a painting, a digital design of the cheetah and its threats, impacting strongly the public.

The Contest is supported by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the Government of Namibia and the Italian Consulate of Namibia.

The Contest:

The proposals have to be used both online and offline, and reproduced on mugs, t-shirts and other items available for sale during the whole year starting from December 4, 2022, and produced by CCF ITALIA.

The drawing may be:

• b/w, coloured, in .jpg, .eps, and HD.
• It shall be innovative, distinctive and able to be reproduced on tissues, or any other item.

Guidelines:

The image shall be sent to the Contest address: drawingforcheetah@gmail.com not later than June 30, 2022.

Each student (or group of students) shall put his/their name/s and the caption of the piece.

No fee is due for the students nor the Schools.

Prizes:

First Prize will be awarded to the student with the highest score: They will be trained for a whole day in Milan, at the EXCHANGES Co., specialized in digital graphic design, artwork production, computer imaging and 3D graphics.

Second and Third Prize reproduction on canvas (sustainable and eco-friendly) of the artwork (value 150€) 120×80 cm, plus a t-shirt or sweater of CCF Italia. The production of the prize will be respectful of the natural resources: recycled plastic and eco-friendly wood.

A SPECIAL CHEETAH PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED BY THE HONORARY PRESIDENT OF THE CONTEST AND OF THE JURY, DR LAURIE MARKER, UPON HER SOLE DISCRETION.

• The prize for a girl will be a cheetah bag donated by GMVENEZIA; a fine company located near Venice which is a supporter of CCF and CCF Italia.
• In case of a boy, he will be awarded with a bike safety helmet, donated by one our supporters.

The Award Ceremony will take place on December 4, 2022, at 4 pm, (venue TBA)

In case of issues linked to the pandemic, the ceremony will take place online.

All participating schools will receive a full supply of natural fruit juices donated by a big Italian Company, CONSERVE ITALIA.

The award-winning art piece will be featured on the website of CCF Italia www.ccf-italia.org and on the CCF cheetah.org official site for a whole year. The same image will be reproduced on different items on sale in Italy and Europe.
