Every Little Bit Counts, One Student’s Desire to Make a Difference

It’s been five years since Sreesha Ram Sarma started making bracelets and figurines to send to the United States to be sold at African Safari Wildlife Parks giftshop in Port Clinton, Ohio. Sreesha was 10 years old at the time and since then has developed a great passion and enthusiasm for contributing to noble actions and causes. Now a high school student in the United Arab Emirates, she still spends a little time each day crafting the small items to be sold at the gift shop.

All proceeds made from the sales of these handmade items are donated to the Park’s 501C3 Guardian of Wildlife Fund. Since 2017, she has raised over $3,400.27 USD that has been donated on her behalf to conservation organizations such as CCF.

Currently Sreesha is a grade 11 student and has been active in the student council and represents her school as a Student Ambassador in the Gems Global Ambassadors Society. Sreesha inspires and encourages her fellow students to participate in activities that contribute to meaningful causes. She will be graduating high school soon and aspires to become a veterinarian someday.
