Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) is Being Considered for Best of Namibia Award!

Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) is among the non-profit organizations now in the final round of consideration for Best of Namibia. In the charity field, CCF has been nominated in two different sub-categories: animal welfare and environmental conservation. The nominations period closed in mid-May, and the top five nominees in each category have been shortlisted for a final round of voting this month.

Recognizing business and non-profit organizations in a variety of categories, including food and dining, travel and accommodation, services, education, and charities, Best of Namibia is a collaborative project jointly launched by Venture Media, One and Future Media.

“We are honored to have been nominated for Best of Namibia – and to be considered alongside so many other impactful organizations,” said Dr. Laurie Marker, founder and executive director of Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). ‘Winning this distinction would help raise awareness about the challenges wild cheetahs face and we are so grateful for the continued support.’

Within the charity field, categories include animal welfare, environmental conservation, education and youth development, health and wellness, and social services and community development. In 2025, N/a’an Kuse Foundation won the Best of Namibia award in the environmental conservation category, and the SPCA Windhoek won for animal welfare.

The final round of voting is open until 19, and winners will be announced after the contest closes.
