An Afternoon with Dr. Laurie Marker at the Denver Press Club
Spend a Sunday afternoon in downtown Denver surrounded by Namibia. This special exhibit features photographs* by University of Wyoming students who spent two weeks at CCF during the Communication and Journalism Department’s recent study abroad, capturing cheetahs, landscapes, and life in the field.
Dr. Laurie Marker, Founder and Executive Director of Cheetah Conservation Fund, will speak at 12:30 PM, with VIP book signings and photos with Dr. Marker beginning at noon. Come anytime during the open house and stay as long as you like. Heavy appetizers and refreshments will be served.
Student photographs and other items will be up for auction, with proceeds supporting a University of Wyoming student internship at CCF next year and CCF’s conservation work.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. (VIP admission 12 PM; Dr. Marker talk 12:30 PM)
