Change the World to Save the Cheetah With Dr. Laurie Marker

Join us at the historical Fraser Mansion for an inspiring evening to hear about Dr. Laurie Marker’s work in helping save the cheetah in the wild from extinction. Dr. Marker is a conservation scientist and Founder and Executive Director of the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). An expert with more than 45 years of experience creating conservation strategies for cheetahs specializing in human-wildlife conflict, illegal wildlife trade, community human livelihood programs & captive breeding.

Dr. Marker is a long-time member of The Explorers Club and is the recipient of the 2020 Explorers Club President’s Award for conservation efforts protecting cheetahs and the Lowell Thomas Award in 2010.
