Give the Gift of Cheetah Sponsorship

Honor a loved one by sponsoring a cheetah. This meaningful gift supports our conservation efforts to protect these incredible animals and their habitats.

Why Become a CCF Sponsor?

Your sponsorship supports our conservation work in Namibia and Somaliland, providing essential care for cheetahs caught in human-wildlife conflict incidents and confiscated from the illegal wildlife/pet trade. CCF raises and places Livestock Guarding Dogs (LGD) on rural farms to help mitigate human-wildlife conflict and keep cheetahs from being taken from the wild in the first place.

CCF cares for cheetahs in Somaliland and Namibia

How your Sponsorship Helps

Rehabilitation and long term care: Your donation helps to care for the cheetahs living at our Centres in Somaliland and Namibia. The total care for one cheetah costs ~$8,000 per year as of 2024.
Release and monitoring: Injured or orphaned cheetahs that meet a set of protocols based on CCF’s research are released back into the wild. We fit these cheetahs with tracking collars so they can be monitored during their initial post-release period and assistance provided in case of reinjury or if supplemental feeding is required.
Environmental education: CCF’s LGDs have shown a success rate of 80 – 100% at preventing predation especially when paired with predator-friendly farming techniques that prioritize coexistence in the landscape by providing training in livestock health and safety.
