Cheers for Cheetahs at Metazoa Brewing

In mid-July, the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) Indiana chapter partnered with Metazoa Brewing Co. to co-hosted the “Cheers for Cheetahs” event in Indianapolis, Indiana. Metazoa is a unique locally owned brewery that donates 5% of all sales to animal and wildlife non-profits since the day they were founded. 

This isn’t the first time the CCF and Metazoa have teamed up, but it’s been a few years (five years!) since our last event. Thank you Metazoa for rekindling the relationship and for doing good while doing business. Your generous give back business model is the perfect partner to hold a “fun-draiser.”

During the event, 10% of all draft sales were donated to the CCF. Just in time for the event, Metazoa tapped a new IPA inspired by cheetahs: Fast & Furriest. The Indiana CCF team also sold merchandise during the event and raffled off a gift basket. 

We loved meeting people who were interested in learning about the CCF mission, some of whom may even become new volunteers! The event was a success for the Chapter that included friend-raising, and of course raising over $400 for CCF to help save cheetahs and its ecosystem.

Congratulations to the winner of our gift basket (seen in the banner photo above) that was filled with drink vouchers from Metazoa, two CCF t-shirts, beer koozies, CCF shot glasses, stickers, and more. You can find some of the merchandise sold at the event on the CCF Etsy store.
