It doesn’t matter if you’ve signed up already or if you’re still mulling it over, you can support cheetahs when you run the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon or 5K on May 2, 2020!
And there’s a bonus to doing good while you run: you can actually get a discounted race ticket when you sign up to support the Cheetah Conservation Fund!
We’re so proud to be part of this event in Indianapolis in May, and we’re excited to see so many racers do their best to run as fast as a cheetah. Runners traveling to the event—no matter where they’re traveling from—can support the Cheetah Conservation Fund when they run.
Below, we go over the different ways you can support the Cheetah Conservation Fund during this event, whether you’re a runner or not!
I Haven’t Signed Up Yet, How Do I Support Cheetahs?
If you’re looking to run the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon and haven’t signed up yet, it’s easy to register and help cheetahs in the process! Keep in mind, though, the deadline to register is April 17, 2020.
Follow this link to sign up for the race, and make sure to select the red text—that’s the discounted option that means a portion of your registration goes straight to the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
During signup, you’ll need to select the “Name of Group.” Make sure you select the Cheetah Conservation Fund from the dropdown!
Once you complete your registration, the next step is showing up on race day and giving it your all!
I’ve Already Signed Up, How Do I Support Cheetahs?
If you’re already racing during this event, we’re so excited to run alongside you! And we’d love to have you on Team Cheetah.
She will set it up so you get transferred to Team Cheetah! Kristen will also be able to get you reimbursed if you paid more than the cost of the discounted ticket.
I’m Not A Runner, How Can I Help A Runner Raise Money?
We love that you want to be involved even though you’re not a runner. It means a lot to us at Team Cheetah!
If you’re interested in helping out a runner you know (or maybe don’t!) you can donate here on our Just Giving page.
We have a goal of raising $10,000 in donations to our runners during this event, and it would mean a lot if you could help us achieve it. All of the money goes straight to the Cheetah Conservation Fund, helping finance education, research, resources to stop the illegal pet trade, and so much more.
Thanks for being a part of our mission.
