CCF UK Welcomes Local Wandsworth-born Star, Jess Impiazzi, as New Ambassador

We are delighted to welcome Jess Impiazzi, a local Wandsworth-born girl, as our newest ambassador to the CCF family.  Jess, who may be nationally recognised for playing Gloria Conti in BBC’s drama ‘Strike – Troubled Blood’ among other roles, will help raise vital awareness and support for the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

Following a visit to CCF’s world-renowned International Research & Education Centre in Namibia last month, Jess opened her eyes to the daily threats cheetahs face in their survival race.

“I was truly inspired by the sheer amount of work to support the local community in finding solutions that enable cheetahs and humans to co-exist.  I’m super excited to contribute towards such worthwhile projects & research while inspiring others to join us in protecting the future of these incredible wild cats.” commented Jess.

As well as starring alongside Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger in Strike, Jess may also be known for her role in the TV mini-series ‘Keep Calm & Carry On’ starring alongside Harriet Thorpe, and comedy movie ‘Hammer Home’ alongside the late Ewen MacIntosh from The Office.

With a devoted fan base, Jess has a great platform to champion causes close to her heart and she has always been a passionate supporter of wildlife conservation and animal welfare, making this partnership a great fit.

We’re excited for the positive impact and awareness Jess can bring in supporting our mission to save the cheetah.”

Highlights of Jess’ visit to the International Research & Education Centre in Namibia included cheetah feeding runs (for rescued cheetahs in the sanctuary), meeting the latest batch of adorable Livestock Guarding Dog pups ahead of their working future, visiting the Model Farm and course getting some cuddles in with the baby goats – one of which she adopted and had named after her!

All of these are part of CCF’s ongoing programmes that she will now be advocating to help ensure cheetahs have a future in this world. We are happy to have  Jess on board and we can’t wait to share all the amazing initiatives we’re going to do together.
