Internship

Canadian Vet Students Going to CCF

  • by Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada March 16, 2017

Did you know…Canadian students are making a difference by becoming interns at Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) in Namibia? This summer, the team at CCF will welcome five veterinary students from the University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College (OVC). They will be at CCF as part of the OVC’s Global Vets, which supports vet students in volunteering with animal health services in developing countries.

All of the students have completed their second year, and are highly motivated to gain international experience and to work with animals in their natural habitats. One of the students, Jaden Dales, has a big passion for the cheetah. She is committed to bringing back knowledge to share with her classmates and pursuing her dreams of working as a wildlife vet.

Over the last few years, CCF has welcomed students from all parts of Canada who want to pursue their studies in ecology, conservation, animal science, engineering and more, and gain from hands-on experience with all the conservation programs at CCF. For more information click here.
