New Mobile X‑Ray and Handheld Ultrasound Now at CRCC!

- by Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada March 20, 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that the mobile X‑ray and handheld ultrasound donated through last fall’s fundraiser have arrived at Cheetah Rescue & Conservation Centre (CRCC) in Somaliland. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who gave — your support made this possible.
To speed delivery, CRCC Country Manager Chris Wade traveled to South Africa to collect the X‑ray personally. In the accompanying video, Chris stands with Dr. Ashley Marshall, CRCC’s Head Vet from Canada, as the team welcomes the new equipment. These mobile diagnostics will allow faster, more accurate treatment on-site, reduce animal transport, and improve outcomes for cheetahs and other wildlife in our care.
Stay tuned for updates and thank you for helping us save lives.
