Beatrice in Action for Cheetahs!

Cheetahs have some great young champions on their side, and Canada has 6-year-old Beatrice, who has a big passion for cheetahs and an artistic flair that she has put into action to raise money to help save the cheetah in the wild.

Beatrice and her mother were recently visiting the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in Toronto, and had the chance to visit the biodiversity section. The ROM’s Schad Gallery of Biodiversity, raises awareness of the significant challenges facing the conservation, diversity and survival of life on earth. At the gallery, Beatrice and her mother heard about animals that are extinct and endangered. She naturally asked about her favourite animal, the cheetah, and they were able to look the cheetah up. Her mother shared with us that “We talked about how the cheetah is threatened and why. She wanted to know how she could help them and we decided on Bea painting pictures to sell to family and friends.”

We think you will love seeing the special design and bright colours in the paintings that Beatrice created. She was able to raise $55 which she sent to Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada. Her gift will go directly to cheetah care at CCF Namibia.
