Lunch with Laurie and the Explorers Club – Womens Society of Geographers

You are invited to join us with the Northern California Explorers Club Chapter on March 30, 2025. Dr. Marker the Founder and Executive Director of the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). An expert with more than 45 years’ experience creating conservation strategies for cheetah, specializing in human-wildlife conflict, illegal wildlife trade, human livelihoods and captive breeding, Dr. Marker has published more than 150 research papers and five books. In 2023, she helped return cheetahs to India and working to stop wildlife trade in Somaliland. Come and learn about what she’s been doing since her last visit!
