18th Annual DC Gala

Join Dr. Laurie Marker, Executive Director and Founder of Cheetah Conservation Fund, for the 18th Annual DC Gala. Help us celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Livestock Guarding Dog Program. Dr. Marker will bring you up to speed on the latest news regarding CCF’s efforts to end the illegal pet trade in Somaliland and how CCF’s rangewide efforts to save the cheetah in the wild.

VIP guests will enjoy an intimate gathering with Dr. Laurie Marker and the cheetah ambassador from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium from 5:30 – 6:30.

Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and wine, a silent auction and a visit from the cheetah ambassador from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

This is an educational fundraising event. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is trained and licensed in the care and handling of wild cats, including cheetahs. Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) is actively engaged in the effort to end the illegal wildlife trade. Ambassador cheetahs provide an educational experience for our event guests. The ambassador cheetah for this event has been confirmed and is scheduled; however, availability may change and CCF cannot guarantee that a cheetah will be in attendance.
