Recap of our Racing for Survival Fundraising Gala

Our recent Fundraising Gala, held at the elegant Bloomsbury Hotel in London, was a delightful evening brimming with purpose as we gathered to champion the survival of one of Earth’s most majestic creatures: the cheetah. Nestled in the heart of London, our venue set the stage for an exquisite evening featuring a delectable array of cocktails and goat’s milk ice cream, sourced directly from our Namibian dairy farm.

Guests were not only treated to a night of enjoyment but also had the opportunity to secure exciting prizes through various activities. Adding a touch of magic to the event, the talented Namibian singer Shishani graced us with a special performance. The excitement continued with an auction offering coveted prizes, including trips, a spa day, and the unique chance to name our guardian livestock puppies.

The culmination of the night featured Dr Laurie Marker, our founder, sharing valuable insights into the positive impact of the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) on cheetah conservation. Attendees were treated to a screening of the new film “Racing for Survival,” shedding light on the crucial work being undertaken.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we successfully raised a substantial amount, crucial for sustaining the CCF’s impactful work in the field. These funds will directly contribute to our programs and initiatives in Namibia and Somaliland.
