June’s wildlife photographer of the month: Yaron Schmid

Those of you who follow us on social media will have seen the beautiful photography of Yaron Schmid filling our feeds over the last week. Yaron Schmid is a veterinarian, conservationist, award winner, wildlife photographer and safari leader.

Yaron aims to offer a special look into the eyes and souls of the animals he photographs. His ability to read and anticipate animal behaviour allows him to catch “special moments” and give viewers a glimpse into their rich emotional lives and unique personalities.

Many of the animals he photographs are endangered, and he hopes that viewers will connect with them through my lens, love them as he does, and join hinm in the fight to help them.

Yaron leads African safaris, and specialises in East Africa.  Find out more about Yaron on his website and see the beautiful photographs he shared with us for his takeover below.
