How It Works
Cheetah Fit is a virtual fitness and fundraiser supporting cheetah conservation and coexistence programs in Africa. Participants walk, run, or bike ๐ถ๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐๐ฝ๐ด๐ฝ ย while raising funds to protect the fastest and most endangered big cat in Africa.
Ways you can participate:
1. Individually
- Participate and sign up on your own.
- Set a personal movement goal aligned to your fundraising.
- Share your Cheetah Fit page with your network
2. Teams
Don’t want to do it alone? Encourage your community around you to join!
- Friends, families, gyms, schools, or community groups.
- Motivate each other and track progress together.
Once you created your Team:
- The team captain register the team
- Make sure to have a team name and share your Cheetah Fit page with your team.
- Every team member need to register and link to the Team (no fee to register as member).
- Individual team member fundraising will then also appear on the Team page.
If ๐ถ๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐๐ฝ๐ด๐ฝ is not your thing, you can find a fitness activity best suited to your fitness level and lifestyle.ย You can also combine fitness activities.
You can also, in honour of the Livestock Guarding Dog Program, walk with your dog – one of CCFโs most successful initiatives.ย Farmers utilizing these incredible dogs have reported a remarkable 80-100% decrease in livestock predation, which significantly reduces human-wildlife conflict and helps save cheetah lives.ย Letโs walk for wildlifeโone paw at a time! #DogsSavingCats
Registration Fee
$20 for individuals and $75 for a team of five.ย Sign up before May 12th and receive a 20% discount code for our Cheetah Fit online shop!ย
For teams, best for the Team captain to purchase items, saving on shipping costs.ย Team members will register free of charge using captain registration code provided at chech-out.
