February 6 is #ReversetheRedDay! Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) is proud to support Reverse the Red and be part of this impactful global movement to conserve biodiversity and improve species conservation. Reverse the Red brings together a diverse and collaborative coalition committed to species conservation, with a goal of halting species extinction, reversing the declines shown on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, and restoring populations.
For 35 years, CCF has been working to keep cheetahs living free and in the wild through our research, education, and conservation programs. This is our Reverse the Red pledge:
This is our Reverse the Red pledge:
- Capacity Building: Work directly with regional and national governments in capacity building to save the cheetah through science, policy and conservation.
- Conflict Mitigation: Work together with rural communities to mitigate human-wildlife conflict.
- Stability and Growth: Work with range countries to stabilize and grow cheetah populations throughout their range.
- Genetic Health and Viability: Safeguard the genetic makeup of the population.
- Threat Prevention: Eliminate the illegal wildlife trade
Help us achieve our goal. Share our conservation work, volunteer or donate.
