Racing for Survival
CCF is partnering with Veloce Racing to secure a future for the world’s fastest land mammal – the cheetah. Read on to find out why this is the purrfect partnership, and how you can support it.
About Veloce Racing
Founded by CCF’s Global Ambassador, Jean-Eric Vergne “JEV”, Adrian Newey and Rupert Svendsen-Cook, Veloce Racing compete in the all-electric off-road racing championship series, Extreme E – the first sport built out of concern for the climate crisis – and the all-female, single-seater racing series W Series.

Drivers of innovation and change
Veloce aims to ignite positive change for society and our planet, supporting communities and conservation efforts in areas of the world where it races. Through our partnership we’ll drive change together, raising awareness and funds to support the cheetah’s race for survival.
Why cheetahs?
Cheetahs are more like racing cars than you think… Built for speed, cheetahs are also incredibly agile. A combination of stealth and acceleration makes them effective predators, zooming forward, making sharp turns and screeching to a stop to win over their prey.
However, cheetahs are now the most endangered big cat in Africa, under constant threat from the illegal wildlife trade, human-wildlife conflict and habitat loss. Just 7,500 remain across a fraction of their former range. We must act fast, before it’s too late!

“I am passionate about the cheetah and am so excited to see this important collaboration come to life. Together we can and will drive change and save the cheetah”.
