Race for survival

Let’s unite to save the cheetah

Cheetahs require vast expanses of land with suitable prey, water, and shelter to survive. Human expansion and climate change over the last century has led to significant habitat loss. Fragmented habitat reduces the number of animals an area can support, forcing cheetahs onto unprotected land, alongside people. Cheetahs now face constant persecution and extinction.

In response, CCF has developed solutions to tackle threats that affect the survival of cheetahs and all in their ecosystem. We need your continued support to implement them. Let’s come together to safeguard a future for cheetahs and those who share their landscape.

Conservation

CCF’s holistic conservation strategy is the key to success in saving the cheetah and its ecosystem. CCF works to develop best practices that benefit the entire ecosystem upon which the cheetah depends.

Education

Environmental education is vital to CCF’s mission, which is why we educate farmers, teachers, and the public about methods to conserve biodiversity.

Research

Scientific research is the backbone of CCF’s education and conservation activities. Our research focuses on the cheetahs life cycle, biology and genetics.
