Saving Cheetahs, Making the Wild A Better Place: An Evening with Dr. Laurie Marker

Join us for an inspirational evening with Dr. Laurie Marker, Founder and Executive Director of the Cheetah Conservation Fund. She will share an update on CCF’s holistic approach to conservation, education, and research work saving wild cheetahs in Namibia, Africa. Her multimedia presentation will also cover current efforts to reintroduce cheetahs into India and CCF’s work in disrupting the illegal wildlife trade through the Horn of Africa that continues to threaten the endangered cheetah. Hosted by Reid Park Zoo and Cheetah Kids.

Doors open and refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m. in the Zoo’s Conservation Learning Center. Dr. Laurie Marker’s presentation will begin at approximately 6 p.m. Your ticket includes light appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages, and the presentation. A cash bar will be available.

Tickets are $25 for General Public, $20 for Zoo Members and $10 for children. (Recommended ages 10+)
