Brian Badger at the Charleston Museum in South Carolina

April 13

Real conservation is conservation that succeeds and is sustainable and brings many skills, projects, disciplines, initiatives, people, aims and goals into a cohesive achievable strategy for the survival of people, wildlife and the environment. Holistic conservation considers the people, habitat, communities, cultures, history, economy and education.

The Charleston Museum and the Seabrook Island Natural History Group are thrilled to welcome, Brian Badger, Director of Outreach for the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF), for his lecture titled, “Holistic Conservation… The Past, The Future and The Balance of Life” on Saturday, April 13. Drawing on years of hands-on experience in Africa and coordinating projects throughout the globe, Brian Badger will explain how Holistic Conservation works in a fun and understandable way for adults and children.

This lecture is hosted in partnership with the Seabrook Island Natural History Group (SINHG) and sponsored by Holiday Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton.
