Big Cats – A focus on the cheetah
March 3 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join CCF Canada on March 3rd from 2pm to 4pm – Etobicoke: Free admission – reserve your seat.
UN World Wildlife Day 2018 will focus on big cats as these apex predators are under threat and there is still time to make a difference.
In honour of WWD, Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada will host an event to talk about the cheetah, the most endangered of all the big cats in Africa. The cheetah is also the oldest cat and the fastest land animal.
Maurice Benatar, Board member of Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada, will provide an overview of the threats faced by the cheetah and the many solutions being implemented by CCF in Namibia and the support provided by our charity.
After the lecture there will be refreshments and baked goods. You will also be able to bid on a number of cheetah paintings for which the proceeds will go directly towards cheetah conservation programs.
Limited space – reserve your seat by sending e-mail to CheetahCanada@gmail.com
