Individual and Team Virtual Challenge
This is your chance to make a significant impact in the lives of rescued cheetahs, and to contribute to the fight against Human-Wildlife Conflict and the Illegal Wildlife Trade (e.g. Horn of Africa).
This is a self-directed fitness event that allows you to:
- Choose Your Fitness Activity: Tailor the challenge to your own fitness and wellness goals. Whether it’s running, biking, bicycling, walking or other activity
- Solo or in a Team: You can register as an individual or register a team for the fitness activity.
- Timing: You can choose to do your fitness challenge in a day, a week or for the full two-weeks (June 1-15, 2025).
- Compete: If you would like to compete with others virtually, simply track your activity and share in your profile.
Step by Step:
Step 1: Register
You can register alone, join a team or create a team.
Step 2: Set Your Fundraising Page
Establish your (or team) fitness goal and link it to your fundraising goal. Take the time to personalize the fundraising page with a photo and say why this cause is important to you. Use this page to engage your network.
Step 3: Order Some Swag (optional)
We have a variety of items in our Cheetah Fit Challenge shop. We hope you like this year new event design below. You can purchase your t-shirt or other merchandise after you complete your registration and wear it during the challenge!

Step 4: Spread the Word
Challenge your friends, colleagues and family to participate in the challenge, and/or to sponsor you! Use hashtags #cheetahfit2025 and #savethecheetah on social media. Join @CCFCheetahFit on facebook and/or Instagram and share photos and videos so we can all support you.
Step 5: Be Active!
Walk, jog, run, bike or any other activity and track your progress between June 1-15 through your preferred tracking device.
Remember every move count to raise support for the cheetah!
Fundraising for the Cheetah!
In addition of raising awareness by setting a fitness challenge, you can help us raise funding to care for cheetahs.
- Set a donation goal for each unit of distance, movement, or any other measurable goal you choose, and ask your network to support you with contributions for your achievements. Keep them updated on your progress to let them know how far you’ve come!
- Share your fundraising goal with your network, explaining why this cause is so important to you. Every dollar raised makes a difference for the cheetah.
- Don’t forget to share your journey with us! Join our Facebook and Instagram groups @CCFCheetahFit, and let’s take on this challenge together. Use the hashtags #CheetahFit2025 and #SaveTheCheetah to stay connected and spread the word.
