Paola Bari


Paola was hired by IBM Italy in 1981 in the Large System/Mainframe division as technical instructor and as pre/post sales technical software specialist. She worked directly with large IBM clients such banking and financial institutions. After meeting her husband Jeff, Paola moved to the USA in 1996 and joined IBM Corp in Poughkeepsie, NY where she is still working as IT specialist on Large System at the IBM Client Center providing technical expertise and technical leadership for client benchmarks on IBM Mainframe.

In addition to her professional career, Paola has pursued a career in the artistic world. Paola became interested in porcelain painting as a teenager and has been actively painting ever since. She began porcelain painting in Milano, Italy and attended multiple seminars in Italy, USA and Switzerland to learn different styles, techniques and materials for porcelain painting.

Paola has international experience as an artist and has exhibited in the United States and Europe. In the last few years, Paola has been using her art in support of endangered species, particularly cheetah. In 2013, Paola co-founded the KeepSafe Project to educate the public and raise awareness for endangered species
