Kay Bishop

Kay is originally from Oregon and is a graduate of Oregon State University. In 1992, she met Charlie Knowles and began her association with Laurie Marker, CCF, and the Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN).

She is past president, and still currently serves as a member, of the following boards: the Church Divinity School of the Pacific; the Bishops Ranch Camp and Conference Center, of which she is a founding member; and the San Francisco Girls’ Chorus, of which she is a founding member. She is active with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in San Francisco where she sings in the choir and has served on numerous vestries. She is a current and past Deputy to the General Convention of the Episcopal Church. Kay is an owner/shareholder of Pendleton Woolen Mills, a 103-year-old family business in wool manufacturing in Portland, Oregon.

Coincidentally, Kay is a distant cousin of Laurie’s through an immigrant entering America in 1620.
