Yes, many people from all over the world volunteer with our International Field Research and Education Centre in Otjiwarongo and find it to be an incredibly rewarding experience. Please visit the “Volunteer or Intern” page on our website under the You Can Help tab for details.


There are active CCF Chapters throughout the United States and in several other countries around the world. Please check our website’s “Join A Chapter” page on our website under the You Can Help tab to see if there is a group located near you. If you are interested in starting a new Chapter in your area, please fill out our Volunteer Survey and a CCF staff member will be in touch with you.


You can choose to earmark your donation for CCF’s highly successful Livestock Guarding Dog program, which has placed more than 450 Anatolian Shepherds and Kangal dogs with farmers throughout Namibia and in neighboring countries since 1994. When you sponsor a dog, you will receive a link to download a personalized sponsorship certificate.

You can also choose to help provide for our CCF resident cheetahs, which are cheetahs that are orphaned, too old or injured and cannot be released back into the wild. Each resident cheetah costs an estimated $5,000 annually for food, veterinary care and habitat maintenance. When you sponsor a resident cheetah, you will receive a personalized sponsorship certificate and progress reports every six months about your cheetah via email.

Or, you can purchase items from our “Wish List” and ship them to us. Some of these items are highly technical, like satellite tracking collars, and others are very simple things, such as gauze pads. There is a link to our wish list on the “Donate” page under the You Can Help tab. If it’s easier, you can donate the funds necessary to purchase something on our wish list. You can also bring these items with you on your visit to CCF in Namibia.
