Are you an author or writer who wants to help save the cheetah?

Whether you are a published author, an amateur writer, or a scientific or technical writer you can help CCF by donating your words to help save the cheetah.

Sy Montgomery and Nic Bishop

In 2012 author Sy Montgomery and photographer Nic Bishop visited CCF to begin work on a book for young audiences highlighting the plight of the cheetah and the work Dr. Laurie Marker and CCF are doing to save the species. In 2014 Chasing Cheetahs was published and was named the National Science Teachers Association – Children’s Book Council, Outstanding Science Trade Book in 2015.

Robert B. Haas

Photographer and Author Robert Haas has donated thousands of copies of his award winning books African Critters and 10 Days on the Chobe to CCF. These books have been used in multiple fundraising efforts.

Sissy Mary Sue

Author Sissy Mary Sue wrote Jelly Beans the Cheetah and Hope a book about a cheetah who overcomes adversity and teaches children empathy, tolerance and respect for others. Sissy Mary Sue donates copies of Jelly Beans the Cheetah and Hope to CCF for fundraising and features CCF prominently on both her website and book cover.

Stephanie J. Teer

Author Stephanie Teer started Wild Animal Kids Club with its debut book I..Am…Cheetah – The Gift. She donates copies of her book to CCF, visits classrooms to hold Cheetah Chats to spread the word about the plight of the cheetah and how kids can help, she also features CCF prominently on her website
