Sara R. Nichols is a graduate of Syracuse University and Villanova University Law School with a Master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of New Hampshire. She was an international flight attendant for TWA, a public defender then the staff attorney for a public interest environmental organization in Pennsylvania before running for US Congress in 1994. Currently, Sara is an environmental and political activist in Los Angeles. Sara and her husband, Frank Arentowicz have one son, Drew, and one granddaughter, Lucja. In her free time, Sara enjoys skiing, reading, political and environmental activism, organic gardening, water sports, travel, hiking, and horseback riding.
