Mr. Beringer has over 25 years of experience managing computer technology businesses, predominantly in marketing, product management, e-business, and operations. He is a ‘serial entrepreneur’ and has spent many years helping start-up companies build business plans, obtain capital, and acquire partners and customers. His extensive resume includes management positions at Hewlett-Packard and several silicon valley start-up companies.
In 2005 Dan and his family took a 1-year hiatus to travel and volunteer throughout sub-Saharan Africa. As part of this trip, Dan spent three months at the Cheetah Conservation Fund’s main complex in Otjiwarongo, Namibia, where he helped implement several conservation and environmental programs. He is currently helping CCF with projects that utilize the local overgrown thornbush as a resource for generating electricity and for making fuelwood products for export.
